The Toast of Leith

This one is for all the wine lovers out there...

Now anyone who knows me knows that wine is like water to me and I'm never found to far from a bottle.

Toast, a wine cafe opened in 2017 in a former art gallery on the side of the water of Leith, sells itself as a fine wining and dining experience. And let me tell y'all dolls it certainly lives up to it.

What makes Toast so special is its diversity at all times. Throughout the day you'll find someone sitting sipping a flat white answering business emails beside someone tasting craft beers and cocktails whose across the room from a couple of friends sharing a charcuterie and a bottle of wine.

Now no wine cafe would be complete without an in house sommelier... and Toast has a exceptional one in Seli. Now if you like wine and want to learn or try new ones then let me tell you, you are in very good hands with Seli. Everytime I go into Toast her recommendation of wine excels my expectations time and time again and with a wide variety of wines from stunning whites by the glass, full bodied reds by the bottle and the occasional sherry flight you'll be hard not to find something to your taste.

Now no cafe would be complete without fantastic food and lemme tell you something, like the wine Toast excels in the food department aswell.

The dishes are to DIE for... toasted sandwiches, specials of Shashuka and cheese and meat boards to die over theres something for you to indulge on anytime of the day.

Now gurl... as the saying goes its 5'oclock somewhere so that makes toast the perfect spot for a glass of wine anytime of the day and thats exactly where I'll be - KD
