How to Wear Green This Spring | Style Edit

Hey cuties, happy Friday.

Last week I spoke about how to dress for transitional weather during the Spring and Fall months and wanted to continue it this week but I wanted to focus more specifically on 3 ways to wear green, as it is the perfect colour for the transitional seasons. I love wearing green, especially in the Fall but have recently found a love for wearing it in the Spring-time as well. It is a fairly versatile colour, and pairs really well with other colours such as navy and petrol blue, tan and if you pick the right shade, pink.

Each of these styles are pretty different, so I hope that you find a look that you love for the sunny months ahead. Let me know which look is your favourite.

This first look I am OBSESSED with. I am living for how the colours work together. Pastel green tones are perfect for spring and work with a wide range of other colours. These trousers are both stylish and comfortable and this mint green and pink moment is such a winner for me. If you are looking for a more relaxed look ditch the heels and throw on a pare of cream coloured trainers and you are good to go. I can definitely see myself rocking this outfit to a 11am brunch once restrictions are eased.

I am a huge dungarees fan. I think they are the most comfortable clothing I own and I planning on getting some more. Dungarees are perfect for Spring/Fall as they are great for layering and depending on how you style them can be laid back, perfect for lazing around the house or chic and perfect for a day out in town. Forest green is perfect for outfit building and works with most colours like black, tan, blue and cream colours. I have chosen to layer mine with a plain white t-shirt underneath and a cropped camel roll neck over the top. Switch the trainers for a pair of heels or boots and a cute bag for a more formal feel.

This last outfit I wore recently for a walk with a friend through the city to grab some pizza and I'll tell ya, I felt so chic. The green tones in the jacket and hat give the outfit a country feel whilst the shirt/knitted jumper combo and black heels provide a nice formal finish. An easy way to bring green into your wardrobe is through accessories like hats and bags and they make for a very stylish finish to an outfit.

What is your favourite way to wear green? Let me know in the comments - xoxo KD
